Collecting Personal Information
Berrypatch Botanical Products (‘BBP’) is committed to providing our customers with great service, and protecting their personal information is one of our highest priorities. We will never sell or share your personal details with any other party.
We generally collect personally identifiable information with your specific knowledge and consent, such as when you sign up for our offers or make a purchase.
We use email marketing to communicate with customers and potential customers from time to time. All marketing emails sent by us will include an unsubscribe link in the footer of the email. Emails sent to you may also include standard tracking, including open and click activities. We use ConvertKit for email marketing
We use social media and web advertising campaigns. These service providers use cookies on our sites and/or pixel tracking to serve ads across the different platforms.
We do not share any of our customer’s information with third parties, but we may be required to disclose an individual’s personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including court order.
Analytics

Ensuring Accuracy of Personal Information
We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that customer personal information is accurate and
complete where it may be used to make a decision about the customer.
If personal information is demonstrated to be inaccurate or incomplete based on Berrypatch actions, we will correct the information as required and replace any product not received as a result of those actions
Securing Personal Information
We are committed to ensuring the security of our customer personal information in order to protect it from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal or similar risks.
The following security measures will be followed to ensure that our customers personal information is appropriately protected:
The use of locked filing cabinets; physically securing offices where personal information is held; the use of user IDs, passwords, encryption, firewalls; restricting employee access to personal information as appropriate (i.e., only those that need to know will have access; contractually requiring any service providers to provide comparable security measures.)
We will continually review and update our security policies and controls as technology changes to ensure ongoing personal information security. We will not directly inform individual customers of these changes; however this policy will be updated on the website.
Providing Customers Access to Personal Information
Customers have a right to access their personal information.
Any request to access personal information must be made in writing and provide sufficient detail to identify the personal information being sought. We will make the requested information available within 30 business days, or provide written notice of an extension where additional time is required to fulfill the request.
There will be no charge to the customer for providing access to personal information. A fee of $30 will apply for any subsequent requests or requests from third parties. We will inform the customer of any requests from third parties and request further direction from the customer on whether or not we should proceed with the request.
Retaining Personal Information
If we use customer personal information that directly affects the customer, we will retain that personal information for at least one year so that the customer has a reasonable opportunity to request access to it.
